Offer 1 : MM AE PE-owned $90mn ARR

OTE : $165k (50/50 split)
Deal size : $40k

Offer 2 : Sr. AE, CRM startup $15 mn ARR

I'm inclined to opt for the former as it'll sharpen my sales repertoire and there's hope I'll graduate to the enterprise segment in a few years.

I Did this already and I do not recommend. SF and HS offer free versions to startups and then make themselves incumbent.

I would not go for a small crm startup tbh. That market is over saturated

You're already leaning toward option one, and that's what I'd recommend as well. You sound more interested, the average deal size is better, and it's not a startup.

1, number 2 seems like it'll get gobbled up by a larger competitor sooner than later.

hard to turn down the higher base but its not THAT big of a difference.

I would choose option one.
1. CRM space is SO crowded, I would not want to be there
2. its always hard to move up market so if you have a path to ENT AE at the first org thats good.
3. $8k deal size is really small and it can be hard to get out of that space for your next gig.

Option 1 because you appear to be more excited about it and seem to have more confidence in that role. Confidence in the company and the product will help you right out the gate.

1, don't compete with Salesforce or Hubspot. Also 8k deals are small, you will need a ton of volume to hit your quota.
