Our typical sell is to a private medical practice. This deal was with a 3rd party company that works with many private medical practices so it was kind of like selling 20 customers all at once through that one partner. But wasn't quite a partnership deal because they will be the actual users of the product.

Largest deal before this one was $115k and average was around the $30-$35k mark. This whale was kind of a perfect storm. I met their CFO at a trade show and we hit it off then we did a quick ~15 walk through of our product at the show after hours with him, their COO, and one other person and they all really liked it. 

Then it turned out their office is literally like 5 mins away from my office so I went onsite with a couple people shortly after the show and had a great demo. Then we actually ~temporarily~ lost the deal because they were going to consider building it themselves. It was a huge bummer but we still maintained a great relationship. Then about 3 months later the COO called me right as I was teeing off for Friday afternoon round of golf and basically said "We can't find or make what you have, and we need to revisit ASAP". We went onsite a couple more times and did some deep dives and closed it within a couple of weeks of that phone call.

Honestly a pretty unique story for this size of deal and something I don't think I'll be able to duplicate as far as overall size and speed of the deal cycle. But it was so so awesome.
