Comission

I've been waiting on a new commission structure since December, haven't gotten paid for any of my work since then. They will pay me what I'm owed once the commission structure is set in stone. The company I work for is like a family, and I don't want to leave but I'm starting to get kinda heated about how all this is being handled. Any advice?

You should ask for a commission plan in writing. I think that's what's legally required anyway

Family like atmosphere - sit down with the management and honestly explain your situation and solution how would you resolve it.

play safe - legal cards - go with what paddy advisedย

Just tell them that's how you get paid, and they can always retroactively pay you the difference... 6 months in is not cool.ย  Ask them how they would feel if the situation was reversed and they were in your shoes...

I'd be pro-active and put a meeting in with an agenda with the needed people and have a professional conversation about it explaining your worries etc
