Commission % of Sale???

I'm super curious about this, as I've sold SAAS and I made 10% off the subscription price. I've also sold hardgood equipment (currently) and we just had our comp. knocked down from 5% to 2.5% for each sale (again, talking a hardgood).

Trying to figure out where I'm standing as I've no other experience selling hardgoods and wanted to hear what everyone else is making.

My sales friends, what is you commish %???

The consulting hours were a part of a web design and development effort (on a platform my company is an expert service provider)  to re-platform the large clients e-commerce website. Hours were for providing a team of developers, project managers, business analysts and QA testers to complete a BIG scope of work.

TLDR - Digital transformation projects = 🤑

5-10% depending on territory and segment and then accelerators after that which could add on 2-6%. So max 16% on a deal

Only 1.5% I wish it was more but I will take what I can get. If any company has over 10% that is amazing and I would stay at that job forever!

There are definitely companies that offer it and more with accelerators. Just depends what you want to sell!
