That is one of the big frustrating thing in sales, when you are asked to do different things that don't directly translate to goals/commish. I've seen it a lot but most of the time the extra things seem to be tied to a bigger goal.

It's very straight forward for us. Of course there is a lot of back-end work to get to signatures, but everyone knows exactly what their pay will be based on the production table.

The split is dumb af. 40 for new, 15 for recurring. Considering how slow my sales cycle is, the expectation to close more than a handful a year is ridiculous.
