Comp for Sales Director


Curious to hear the comp packages of someone maybe similar to my situation. I am Sales Director (first time management after years as an Enterprise rep) for a public SaaS company, responsible for 8 AE's in enterprise accounts. My package is just above 300k OTE with $100k in RSUs/PSUs vesting over 3 years. 
How does this stack up? I've had W2's beyond that OTE as an IC but am aware I am trading in a higher $ upside for a higher $ floor.

sounds pretty legit to me (although im an AE) 

I would be hapy with that and if you have a good team of AEs you could be crushin it.

Im also a director and my OTE is $250k and ~2M in stock (were pre ipo though so its fake money at this point) When I signed my stock was worth ~250k but we have 10x since then in our latest funding round. 

For a publicly traded company I would say youre package is very fair.

So is it a 50/50 on that 300 OTE? Are the shares a one time thing or will be revisited annually? I just received my comp plan for a similar role and my OTE is 60 base 40 variable to get me to my OTE. My shares are at 50k with a 3 year vest but that is to be visited annually as part of my package. Congrats on the promotion!
