I've been in sales at the same company for 6+ years. I started my career here, so I've never really seen any other comp plans aside from ours over the years when new sales VPs come and go.
I'll start - we're primarily a IT MSP, but also sell data center hardware. At the moment we get 38% of one month of new MRC for existing customers, and 75% of one month for new business. 20% cut for leads that come in via channel. Hardware is ~10% of profit.
Anyone care to share how this compares?
