Be alarmed. Pay attention.

Update your rรฉsumรฉ, network with other reps, apply for a job or two. If things don't go well you will be ahead of the game. If things do go well yourย rรฉsumรฉ will be updated so it's one last thing to worry about ๐Ÿ˜‰

depending on where are you in the row? if you are on specialist level perhaps not much to worry. if you are in the mid mngmt - perhaps an opportunity to crawl up to the mngmt positions which are now being freed up by those newly departed :Dย

Every acquisition situation seems to be different. Need to keep your ear to the ground and understand the "why" of what is going on

It's super common and when they leave so does whatever culture and attitudes you enjoyed having. You should be networking like a mad dog to find out where they are going next and if they'll bring you. Follow the good ones

Instability is always concerning, great time to spruce up the resume and maybe put a few applications out there. ย Nothing to lose staying ahead of the game. ย

But.... I will say we had something like this happened and everything got way better for our company, pay and stability.ย

I'd be worried at a 7/10. Time to update the resume and throw some applications out there.ย

I'd start looking for sure. Always good to start chat early rather than get blindsided by being laid off and then trying to find another gig.ย

Get your resume out there and make a list of places where you know someone that can refer thatโ€™re currently hiring

The truth is, at this point, no matter what anyone tells you they probably don't know what will happen. So I would say don't stress, but be prepared for anything.

Do you have a new boss? Use this as an opportunity to get to know them and ask them point blank if this is going to affect you because youโ€™d like to be prepared... then if they fire you later theyโ€™ll feel like the soul-less POS they are for lying.ย

With any acquisition comes restructure and purging of stuff that wasnโ€™t working. Higher ups probably start jumping ship because they were super comfortable in the cushy positions that they already had and werenโ€™t ready for a new challenge. Update your resume if you feel like you need to and keep doing your thing

It's important to have your head up in this situation. Definitely wouldn't hurt to reconnect with people outside of your organization to get their perspective on how things are going for them. And like @Chep said, that profile picture is on point.

I would hang in there unless culture has become truly unbearable. Layoffs happening means more opportunity for you to move up and fill those gaps. ๐Ÿ’ช

I noticed the weekly leaders currently have roughly 1,000 points. If that's a weekly total, then it's only take about 15 weeks for them to get the biggest prize... seems pretty attainable to me based on that math.
