Copier Industry is Dead

Trying to play the chess game and find my next path. We are under budget for our copier quota as a company and I feel we are going to a paperless world. What should I do next?

It has been going to a "paperless world" for the past 20 years. We have seen an upturn at my company in revenue. Just need to place your focus on other things in the offices as well.

I don't think the printing industry is dead. It may be time for you to do something new 🤷‍♀️

Spent some time in the job ad world (i.e. Indeed, Glassdoor, ZipRecruiter). Pretty easy to break into and is a decent way into SaaS.

Also, dependent on your location, there are some great sales orgs that you can leverage to broaden your network. Sales Assembly or AA-ISP (Inside Sales) have training programs that include job placement services that I have seen be helpful to others.

I'd start hitting some people up on LinkedIn and trying to network if I were you. Changing industries can be difficult, but it's easier if you have sales experience

If you can break into the tech space, that's an industry not going anywhere.

Call me what you want, just sign the damn contract
Docusign and its ilk seem to be a natural transition to some degree. They're always hiring.

down voters are marketing spies
Think lateral.

I hire for attitude and train for skills...

But you have the skills, so bring the attitude and you will get a role anywhere.

It's a numbers game, like sales.

Network. Door knock. ASK.
