Purple squirrel is a new one for me - is this the same reference as unicorn?

No. It’s to describe someone looking for something that doesn’t exist.

Flywheel is only acceptable if you work in a bike shop.

Not a sales one, but it was used incorrectly by one of our VPs in a sales setting.

GVP (65, "good ol boy" type of personality) in a QBR yelled at a female rep to "Stop hiding the salami".

What he meant was "stop sandbagging your forecast" however that phrase does not mean what he thought it meant and it was both hilarious and painfully awkward.

I use low hanging fruit... "touch base" is another one that I satirically started using but now it's part of my regular vocab.

"Boil the ocean" is another one.

Idk if this is a buzzword /phrase but lately it's become one because of remote meetings: "Can you hear me okay??"
