COVID rise

Hey guys I was wondering as I have been hearing from friends at other offices and other places in the world that offices are beginning to shut down again. My office fully returned back, not needing a vaccine, and masks are not mandatory but I am curious to what others are doing.

I negotiated my role to be fully remote since I bought a house outside of the area my company is HQ'd at... never going back to the office lol

Right now working from home is optional, but the office is open for anyone that prefers to be here. I'd say we have about 75% of people back in the office at least few days a week now. No masks. No vaccine requirement. We are not public facing.

Our office is fully vaccinated and we have all of our protection stuff up still. We wear a mask if we have face to face meetings with each other or go to common areas.

I've been fully remote since may 2020. Was at my old company then, for the past 6 months at my new company, I'm fully remote as well. We don't even have a physical office, which I'm totally fine with.

we never left the office. we just masked up and then we reduced non essential staff. we've kind of just stayed there. after we reduced redundancies we just kept it that way.

i'm literally sitting in an office with 4 empty desks around me. *shits weak*

A homeless guy walked up to the door and looked at me today. We made eye contact and then I just acted like he wasn’t there and he put his Walkman headphones on and walked away.

You can't attend any corporate events at my company without proof of vax. We're still staying largely remote anyway though.

Most of us are WFH, but I've started coming in to the office 0-2 days a week. 

It's nice to break things up, and I have my own office so only wear a mask in common areas outside our suite, or when getting close to others that are here.

It helps that we're dog friendly and I got a puppy this summer.

I wish that is what our office would do. 

Currently there is hybrid work happening with people choosing to go in 2 times a week if they would like, Masks are mandatory. However, we can work fully remote for the rest of the year if we so like.

Right now i'm working hybrid with 50-50 homeoffice/work. We are totally back to normal at my job. I really can't wrap my head around if i should do 100% office.

50-50 works pretty good for me!
