How you doin truck loaders?

I want to share "crazy experience" of mine. I want to understand if there are more people that can relate to that or maybe even had crazier sales shit in their lives.

So, 9 years ago I relocated from Lithuania to Cyprus for a job. It was an Israeli company and most of my colleagues were from Israel. I spent 2 years there.

I was offered an AE position, but once I came they told me that you have to start like everybody else - which means go through training and become an SDR and only if you are 3 months straight in top 3 out of all SDR's(there was around 65 at that time), only then we will promote you to AE.

I didn't had much choice, was far away from my country and with no cheddar in my pocket. So, I said Okay- let's do it.

There where 65 of hungry animals in the same room from different parts of the world - India, Saudi Arabia, Sweden, Romania and so on). Ohhh boy, we were dialing, ohhhh boy, we were dialing like a motherfuckers all day long.

Thank god for my guts and luck I've got promoted to AE in 5 months. Then I joined a team where it was 20 Israelis, few jewish Americans and me.

I'll keep the second part of the story how did everything go once I became an AE there for the next time. It was really wild with the parties and shit - "Movie like"

Now, has anyone encountered similar situations that you need to loose your health and grind it out with your teeth to get that promotion?
