CRM - Implementation Cost?

I've been asked to do a private design/implementation of a CRM for a courier company.

I've done this several times before in my career, but always internally for the company I was employed with.

No idea what to charge. Can peeps sound off with general ranges?

Scope:

Courier company of 20ish employees

Need to review current work processes, select a platform, design and implement.

Assume we're starting from Excel/emails/elbow grease as current "system" so it will be a significant lift at the start.

My current org used to offer CRM install/config and our rate was $275/hr. I believe we were on the upper end of implementation costs, but hopefully that gives you a jumping off point.

Iโ€™d sell a monthly retainer at $x/hr * your capacity (10-20-30 hours a week?). Sell a min of 1 month.

This keeps you from needing to scope out and retain flexibility.

I have a mate that has a side gig doing this, he charges around 350/400 as a day rate...but that's because he can get it done in a couple of hours...so usually he can do 2 a day. Figure out how long it would usually take you first and then the cost?

I got some clarification on the scope, and went with a 7500 price tag, half up front during the heavy lift portion, thanks for the input all.
