CRM usage should be second nature and you should use it for your own benefit as well as management’s.
salespeople complain about it but it’s actually really important for LOTS of reasons.
The information in the CRM should enhance your business, from understanding what has happened, help make future decision and where/what to invest in for the sales dept.
from a management POV, we need this information for forecasting and for understanding where they will finish as a dept etc.
I have seen people being passed over for promotion for not using the CRM properly and rightly so, IMO.
I believe everyone should make it a priority to make sure they log everything in the correct way and make it normal to so. It will help you, your boss and your dept, and that can only put you in a stronger position.
