I got an angry call from one of my accounts the other day saying that she was looking for help with a question on her personal account, so she called our cs line instead of me (I handle group accounts).
Well, turns out this idiot doesn't know anything and in the middle of the call goes "hold on, I gotta pee real quick" and sets the phone down to go to the bathroom. Like doesn't even place her on hold?? She could hear all the commotion of the office going on in the background and said she waited on hold for like five minutes before just hanging up.
Are you kidding me??? Why in the world would anyone think that's appropriate? They could have easily said "let me place you on a brief hold while I look into this issue further" and then gone and taken a dump. I was so embarrassed for everyone involved.
What kind of idiotic stuff does your cs team do to embarrass you and your company?
