This is tough market for up & coming cybersecurity firms. Lots of consolidation & less money going around.

Darktrace just got acquired by a PE firm so they will be making some changes probably.
Most are easy to find however the true inside scoop is artic wolf. They don’t have many positions though people don’t leave

It's such a hot market, any of the notable ones. Have heard good things about Crowdstrike and Darktrace.

I have heard the opposite for DarkTrace, they score low for culture and I have heard how bad they overwork their reps and how small territories are now.
All the named companies are bigger names and established. I would go downstream a bit and try to find smaller companies. Cyber markets are pretty solid right now and people will still buy security in a shit economic time like these. Just Google a list of smaller ones and start ups. Thats where you can make great money and have a true impact on the business and decisions.

Not fully true. I am at a 7 person very small security companies right now and we are doing fine. Cash flow positive and have not taken in any VC funding or money. We’re growing pretty decently. Most my prospects want to go away from a tool that covers all security. They want product specific security and specialized cybersecurity. The tools that cover multi product security throw tons of false positives and have weak rulesets. Agree some, not all, want to consolidate bc budgets.
Microsoft sucks though, it's just productivity and customers always get hacked
I’ve been in cyber since 2015. I’d stay away if possible. The money is just is as good elsewhere and selling to security is described as “legendary mode.” Not impossible just higher effort as they naturally mistrust you

I suggest finding some active CISOs and see who they post about or what boards they’re on
Look up the CISO VC SVCI for some ideas too

TBH, I'd try to get into any legitimate one. Most good ones not only want you to have sales experience but also cybersecurity experience.
