Delinquent Prospects / Customers

Wether it's a deal you closed to sell a car only to find out the customer can't get credit approval or a client that your finance team is getting you to help chase down for unpaid bills...

Lots of names for em... Flakes... or my favourite, 'R.O.A.C.H. : Rejected On Approved Credit History'

What are some of the situations where you've been strung along by prospects and customers only to encounter a lack of funds?

Do tire kickers fall into this category? I sometimes encounter "hot leads from marketing" from prospects inquiring about a five or even six figure product that have no budget or plans to make room for it in the budget. Those are always fun.

Yes, 100%. Tire Kickers absolutely fall into this category.

My company tends to be guilty of tire-kicking simply because it's in the nature of the game. We're shopping for partnerships etc and we know what products are worth and know that sometimes exuberant costs don't equate to exuberant features.Β

It's answers like this that make me wish we could peel back the veil of anonymity to know exactly what the hell people are talking about, hahah. But I get it! Probably for the best to keep it anonymous.Β

What do you sell? I want to understand the economics of the industry or it just financial thing your company offers?Β
