Developing long-term relationships

everyone in here (unless you're a numbskull) would rather sell 10 times to 1 customer than 1 time to 10 customers.
why?
because it's less work and it equals a quicker paycheck and a lot of times, a bigger paycheck.
the absolute best way to do this is to develop long term relationships. (sorry if this doesn't apply to some of you guys)
Now, I know some of you guys are afraid of commitment. it's kind of old school or whatever. But if there's one thing I learned from some of my counterparts with a lot of skin in the game it's that they never ever cold call anymore. (I'm not saying don't cold call)
They've known their customers for 20+ years and the same customers come back every year, lots of times more than once a year.
friendly reminder to take care of your customers and they'll take care of you back.
I have a few customers that I've developed friendships with. sales go by without a hitch and calling on them is a blast and usually involves spending half the day drinking or BSing in their office.

This is so true! Acquiring a new customer is 10x harder than keeping and upwelling your current custommer

That’s what I’m saying! Idk there’s a lot of tech sales folks in here so maybe it’s different for them for now.
