Do Austrian Companies hire Marketing professionals from India ?

I completed my MBA in Marketing and Finance from India in 2018 with a CGPA of 7.09.

Meanwhile, I started my startup to solve the gardening problems in the city by providing live plants, Gardener on subscriptions and landscaping services in one of the big cities in India.

I developed my startup only with my pocket money to keep the startup providing services for 3 Years. We did very well and it became one of the top startups in the State and got recognized at the state level by well-known incubation centres.

But I could not secure investment as I could not give a technological touch to it due to lack of finance and a cofounder. I did my best to keep my startup going but at last, I lost as the Indian Economy was hit by GST and our major sales went down from Real Estates, I thought of joining one of the best incubation centres in India as a Marketing and Operations Consultant and helped more than 500 startup founder in mentoring and funding support in respect to knowing more about Startups, Scalability, Funding etc.

I worked with them for 9 months and after the consultancy period was over I learned that my startup won't do much without any technical touch for scalability.

I took it in a positive way and joined a startup who are into IOT-based solution in waste management. I gave my best to learn about IoT and SAAS and helped them to achieve sales of 48,99,648.00 USD approx.

I then realized that I was being cheated with ESOP and Incentives things and left the company without accepting the false incentives compared to our discussion.

I now understand I need to take help from the law to get my incentives and work experience certificate. But I don't have enough savings to fight the system now as I also came to know about Indian law and System while working with the waste management startup into Govt. Sector.

I do have some job offers and a network to secure a job immediately. But my experience in the corporate world is very bad in INDIA.

So, I am looking for opportunities in the European Country to live a politic free life.

I have not applied for a passport yet. So I want to know if should I apply for a passport without securing a job ? Also, how can I secure a job in a European country without the experience letter from my past employer? Is it compulsory as I don't even want to talk with those cheaters? Will there be an issue in the VISA process ?

Please show some light.

I can sponsor my visa for Austria after securing a job and am very much interested in working in Austria.

Your reply and insights mean a lot to me. Thanks !

Getting a work visa in any European country is extremely difficult, especially EU member countries. You’ll definitely need a job lined up before they will even consider you, and your European employer will likely have to file for the visa for you. Even then there is no guarantee you’ll get the work visa. There are an extremely high amount of people trying to get into Europe which means it’s very hard to get.

Recently the founder of the extremely successful company Basecamp, who is a Danish born citizen tried to move back to Denmark with his American wife. Despite his citizenship and extensive financial funds they still denied her. I know that is not Austria, but it should give you an idea of how hard it is to get a work visa in an EU country.

You might have more luck if you can get enrolled in a school in Europe and get a visa to go to school and then once you’re there get a job and convert your visa.
