Do I publicly humiliate?

So recently I scored a meeting with the president of a decent size company because I'm just super smooth and charming on LinkedIn. He emailed his assistant to set up the meeting and copied me on the email. The assistant isn't responding or doing her basic fucking job of scheduling the meeting and won't respond to my emails or calls. It's been like a week now so I'm starting to get pissed.

Do I call her out on the email with her boss copied, running the risk of humiliating her? Do I email her boss separately (the guy who agreed to meet with me) and say I'm having a hard time getting in touch? Or do I wait this out?

What's the move here savages??

Call me what you want, just sign the damn contract
Don't be a dick. Just email the guy and say "hey, I'm having a hard time getting this scheduled."

I agree there she might be sick or your mails just go straight to junk and she isn't seeing them. I usually get as frustrated as you and want to always do that...but it will only lose you the deal. Im sure you can call her out with cc whike giving her the benefit of the doubt in that email.

It's not a dick move to email the assistant and CC the exec saying:

Hey ___

I'm sure ____'s schedule is filling up fast for our meeting. Did you need anything further from me to get a time booked?

Let me know.

This is the best answer on here.ย

Sometimes people forget, your email might have ended in the SPAM folder...

This is polite, to the point, and direct. It doesn't call anyone out.ย

How long has it been? That's important here. I've certainly done that before, I was in a very similar situation. What I've also done is looked up the assistant's phone number on ZoomInfo (or if it's in her signature) and just scheduled it that way

Humiliation won't get you anywhere imo. I think you should email the boss separately and dive deeper into this. I feel its good to get into the door in good faith

What if you sent a calendar invite to the assistant for a quick meeting?

I would try to be more patient. You never know whatโ€™s going on but if it goes almost another week or so I would email again and cc the president.

Never, ever, piss off EAs/front end of executive. They are trusted confidants, if they think you're an ass - it will reflect poorly on you and magnify with that target.ย
