Do I push or build?

Within the Push Pull debate, the Pull strategy is presented as an "attraction" strategy and is particularly common in recent years. It is based on reinforcing the brand image and its main objective is to make the brand powerful in such a way that it is not necessary to propose a Push strategy to achieve sales because in this case sales come on their own because users are attracted to our company.

They are already interested in our products or services because we already have a reputation or prestige that has generated that feeling and we can reach a point where demand is higher than supply.

Without more context and understanding of the two concepts, it's impossible for me to understand which camp I fall into.

agreed a bit of a loose description but I still find myself in the build category.  However, there are MANY different cases where I could be wearing the push hat.

Where are you getting the content for your posts?  Are they coming from published material?  They all sound like directions, not questions for discussion.   I'm curious.

Gotta do both imo. Every prospect is different and might need different motivations or value prop to secure the partnership.

Currently more of a pusher, working on becoming more of a builder. It’s a process.

I've been told that I need to work on being more of a pusher as of late. But how?

If they tell me they are not interested, I ask some questions that may bring out the why, and if it's a solid response I just ask when is it a better time to have a conversation and then close the deal then. However, I need to work on being pushier, BUT HOW!!?!?!?!

I am a pusher. I’m a fucking tsunami bulldozer.

With that said, “how” you are is less relevant than what yet do.

When you get into large enterprise sales, being a pusher is not enough. You need to build.  But SMB, and B2C? Make sure you’re good enough to know what’s right for your customer, then shove it down their throat.  As long as you have ethics, you don’t have to spend 20 years tiptoeing around peoples feelings. They’ll like you better once you’ve delivered a solution and improved their lives.  You add no value until you close.

It could be helpful especially depending where you live. For some reason all of the Spanish I took in high school and college - eh - couldn't retain it.

I lost all of my Spanish when waved to the side of the road by a very large and intimidating officer in Mexico.
