Do intent data tools actually work?

I've looked at using Bombora and things like that in the past, but do they actually work? Curious to hear your experiences

My experience with engagio and demandbase would tell me yes. I am not sure if the data really helps but it can show what prospective accounts are interested in what you're selling at any given time - which can narrow down important target accounts. Overall, been using demandbase one recently and I love it. Idk how accurate the data may be, but intent tools can most certainly help you get to the right place at the right time, generally speaking.

I couldn't tell ya. I wasn't involved in those conversations and never thought to ask. I can pry for info and get back to you

I had posted asking about these types of tools- (search 6sense). The few responses I got were pretty supportive of them.

We just bought 6sense which is a competitor to demandbase and we're still early in the adoption but the general consensus is really positive so far. They can do a lot but for sales specifically it gives you a lot of data points and helps prioritize target accounts that might be in the market. As a rep I'm targeting 50-100 accounts based on arbitrary fits and what not but it's showing us accounts that are actively doing research and it's just a great way to go after slightly warm accounts. Also knowing specifically what companies are on your site looking at your products is huge. Great way to fuel outbounding. Jury's still out on impact to closing business but anecdotally we're getting more meetings for sure.

Interested to hear if anyone else is further along and has some more tangible metrics on success.

Any idea on pricing for 6sense? How did 6sense work out for you since last May?

Bombora is great. Intent data from D&B hoovers are also good.

Advice on how to make the call not sound so creepy?

For months at my last role, I was the only SDR using Zoominfo's intent data. I booked more held meetings than everyone the entire time.

Small sample size, but I stand by it.

I really like 6Sense's data...much better than Zoominfo, but really expensive.

Sorry for the late reply.
Do you have access to ZoomInfo's intent data or 6Sense?

If it's ZoomInfo, an admin has to give ZoomInfo your intent topics. There is a limit to how many, based on your contract.

I've been a ZoomInfo admin, so I can walk you through that, but I can only walk you through the user process for 6Sense as our marketing team owns it.
