I honestly do not care. I care about my goals and if the numbers are correct.
Definitely think they help - sales people tend to be motivated by numbers and winning and I personally love healthy competition. I think the real question is how is leadership using stack rankings to motivate and coach their team?
Focus on you. My biggest competition is myself, so as long as I am improving from the previous day and hitting my personal goals, I couldn't give a shit about stack rankings.

My company doesn’t show a leaderboard until the last quarter for Presidents club. Kind of wish they showed it year round.

Depends on the environment. If it's healthy, then great. If it's toxic, then IMO it's no bueno.
At my first job, you had to 'earn' the right to go casual (or even wear jeans) on a Friday based on your activity/attainment.

numbers are numbers. its how they are used. If your boss is pointing to the leaderboard and asking why you sucks so much and are not catching the person ahead of you.....its bad.
but if its there for everyone to see and is used more as motivation in a positive way, than it can be good.
im competitive and like the leaderboard. even if im not on top i do like to see where everyone is at.
