A friend of mine told me how their sales number is solely based on the entire company's performance and I was shocked when I heard it's been working really well for them. Everyone is bought in and helping each other close deals.
If this happened at my company, I think there would be a mutiny, but my company is also a slightly larger sales team (15 vs 7 reps) and my friend said all of their people are killing it and have equity in the company so... maybe they're onto something?
Would you be willing to try a team-based commission check if you were an AE?
