Do you even cuss, bro?

I’m curious to hear what you all have to say. I’ve heard strong takes on both sides. Gong data says cuss. But some buyers still are good ol’ square SUTAs. I’m a classic “read the room” guy and I’ll mold my approach to whoever I’m talking to, which I’ll assume is like many others. Fire away.

How often do you cuss on customer calls?

If the prospect swears first, I see nothing wrong with sprinkling in a fun four letter word to build rapport. I wouldn't be the first to cuss though, a prospect could be buttoned up and get offended at "damn" and "crap," let alone "fuck."

Thank you - I just discovered this!  Duly noted.  Will help reduce dupes.

Wish our fucking SFDC admin had a sliver of the same passion to eliminate dupes like our Bravado officers!

As always, I don't advocate anyone follow any of the crazy stuff I do, but it always seems to work for me. So carpe the shit out of that diem and swear a bit.

If you've built rapport with the client and you're on the same page go for it. If they go first I'm all in...let's be real, cussing in this day and age can be fun with everything going on in the world. They're just words, right??? 🤷🏼‍♂️🤙

It depends what's the vibe on the call. Read the room and see how far you can go with cussing

I'll curse a little sometimes. My presentations are very casual and my audience typically appreciates that. Makes me relatable.

Gotta read the room, but it humanizes the meeting and, as Tony Robbins says, a correctly timed curse word has HUGE impact on listeners

If they swear first then yeah for sure, otherwise I will occasionally throw in a low level swear like hell or damn at important points, makes people snap to attention so if you do it right before impactful points you can make sure they actually hear it.
