Do you ever have imposter syndrome?

This is something I struggle with along with people in my life around the same age (mid-twenties). Curious, do you ever feel imposter syndrome?

I have imposter syndrome like a mother f'er in my current role. I struggle with it constantly because at my old job I was not just the best, but the best by FAR. I trained new reps, I hit the highest numbers, and I was well liked. In my new role I'm none of those things and it's been humbling, and apparently a humbling I wasn't ready for because it's made me question my sales acumen entirely at some points.

What has helped me is getting back out and seeing people face to face, I've been to ONE networking event in 2021 and got 2 job offers from business owners/C-Suite while there. That helped me realize that even if I don't fit where I am, I'm good enough that I do fit somewhere and I am in demand.  Maybe find an outlet to exercise your own chops again will help you?

I appreciate the insight in sentiment.  Getting around people again and seeing yourself hold your own with them is always a good ego boost that is much needed in sales at times

It helps to separate emotion from reality. The way I do it is I take a step back and ask myself, "Who told you that?" This helps me look at facts instead of feelings.

To me, this is the aspect you should try to sort out for yourself if at all possible.

That’s what I’ve been doing for the last couple of months and I feel like its done some good but I’m independent and live on my own without having to lean on my parents for support.
