Do you find Dooly productive?

Hey Champs,

I'm trialing Dooly for notes and opportunities updates as it integrates directly with SalesForce. I'm personally not finding it very useful, however, does anyone here have any experience with it. If yes, how do you leverage it well to save time?

Thanks in advance.

Dooly is a great idea. Terrible product. Try scratchpad.

I have yet to see the value in these note taking apps. Since when did taking notes become so difficult?

It's not about notes taking being difficult but making it more automated and that is what's I'm trying to discover here 😆.

I guess that's my point; why does something so simple need to be automated? I feel like all these note software's are trying to force feed a market that doesn't exist. Perhaps some things don't need to be automated..

For as much as everyone gets on other companies, I see this one everywhere and have never heard customers talk about it. Curious to hear the responses.

I've never used Dooly or Scratchpad. I just update my SFDC as I go. I'm sure they are both great tools though. 🤷‍♀️

Even I'm finding using Dooly is doing no good. Thanks for your response.

These tools are novel, hitting at the pain reps have with data entry and management getting them to do it, but the time savings is marginal, maybe a couple hours a week. Tough ROI. What everyone needs is their own personal admin. I believe they used to call them sales coordinators back in the day. Someone to do all the crap work. I wonder if that can be outsourced..

Im team I don't understand why this is so hard/necessary. Just update your shit after your calls or EOD and move on. Feels like we are just adding extra steps/complexity to save an hour a week at most.

The value in Dooley for me lies in the ability to inline edit opportunities and have that push direct to SFDC along with the ability to have note templates and make that part a lot easier for me. I’d show you the way we use it and it is very valuable, I’m not sure the price point but my whole team swears by it.

Have you or your team tried scratchpad instead? If you think this is magical with Dooly, your mind will be fucking blown with scratchpad. We started with Dooly and were unimpressed by the product and team. scratchpad straight bangs for inline edits in pipe, super fluid note taking auto synced to SF, and the ability to make updates anywhere on the web is legit. If you are a Nokia fan and like flip phones, go with Dooly. If you prefer the high end Apple experience, scratchpad is your game.

And you’ve worked for scratchpad for how long? Lol joking. Never had the chance to try scratchpad but would be open to it 100%

just a superfan amigo and spreading the word. Don't bother me one bit which path you go. Hope it helps.

Sales enablement tried to drop Dooly last year... there was a mutiny on the sales floor ⚔

We rely on it heavily to keep pipeline up to date- which keeps managers off our backs for "deal check-ins".

*There is a learning curve because is SO configurable. But once you have a process, it's massively more efficient then updating each Salesforce opp individually.

*the Boards tool is where it's at (in-line editable)
*The notes tool is powerful but again, hard to build a process around since every rep does things a little different

Agree, we have certain teams using it heavily as they find it a time saver, will be shadowing them to see how they leverage.
