Do you have an Unsubscribe link in your cold emails?

just added it and I'm kinda bummed how many people are unsubscribing at the very beginning.

but I get it. these people get a lot of irrelevant emails and gotta keep a clean inboxย

I just gotta improve my cold email copy!

unsubscribe link?

Definitely not.

Especially if you have a calendar link, email/company website link, or a resource link. Makes getting flagged much worse.

I used to think that until I sat on a Webinar for Apollo and it turns out if you donโ€™t have an unsub link it can ruin your domain reputation with a prospects domain.

Reason being say a prospect flags your email as spam, and since they couldnโ€™t unsub they get another one and flag it again. If you have 2-3 other contacts do that itโ€™s enough to get spam blocked for that domain

I find it easier to just hit delete then go through and unsubscribe process. And my anti-spam filter knocks out like 80% of unwanted emails.

Question: did they ever subscribe to your emails? If not, what are they unsubscribing from? You?

They never subscribed since itโ€™s a cold email so itโ€™s really just an opt out button.

We're about to start leveraging Salesloft here and there for sequences, so I suspect anything from there will have an unsubscribe link.

For emails I've been sending from my own Outlook account - no.

No. But if I email you it's for a good damn reason. I'm also an AE so that may be different from you.

Canadians get big mad without that unsub in your email, at least in my personal experience, lmao

It gets auto sent by our email tool. I think you have to include it for GDPR compliance as well

I believe that The Unsubscribe link idea is just for the auto sent emails by the systems and not for the manually written ones, even if I'll include that link into the email the prospects receive that won't stop actually my access to send them more and more,we all know that:)
FYI,Tech savvy prospects will soon discover and will call next time to ask you to take em from the contact list entirely, if they're still getting those emails bombardment:)
