You're not gonna get better vesting terms (12 month cliff, 48 month vest), but you can increase your total share allocation by 1.5-15xz

Of course! Why wouldn't you? If it's part of the offer, it's something that can be negotiated on. Even if it's not something that is important to you personally, it's something they've put on the table and by 'giving' on that aspect you can make bigger asks in other areas i.e. base, OTE, territory, etc.

Yes, yes and yes. As others have said, you aren't going to have much luck with vesting terms, but I have (and seen others) have had luck with total shares (sometimes with a small hit to base pay, but who cares since the commission will cover that).
And obviously negotiate everything else(PTO, base salary, etc.).

Vesting time IMO is more valuable than equity. I would ask for more equity, a shorter vesting period and pivot to a higher base salary if they rebuttal.
