Do you put in extra time at work on a regular basis?

If so, how much & how do you stay motivated to do so?

If not - do you think you'd be able to sling more deals across if you did, or no?

Do you work more than 8 hours/day or 40 hours/week?

Yes and no. If I am low on pipe or have deliverables to do, then yes. But I start to get diminishing returns after about 10 hours a day, I can't focus much longer than that.

I kinda never turn "off". I'm always thinking of new strategies, connections, ways to make me stand out and ways to structure a deal. I also read a ton of content related to work all the time - especially during this pandemic because legislation is *literally* changing every day. Gives me an edge if I can relate what I do to the latest headline.

But, yeah. The minute the nightlife here is back in full swing, I might be able to disconnect. There were times in mid 2020 where I had to stop what I was doing and just sleep for 3 hours.

My motivation comes from many, many years of 100 hour weeks. It's just kinda habit. Also, I don't have family obligations.

I don't necessarily think I'd sling more deals if I worked more than 40 hours a week consistently because I think I'd be a raging, sleepy bitch instead of charming af.

I'd like to think I'm pretty even keeled, but it really does depend on what is going down at the time for me.

I do, but only because my company accelerators are ridiculous so it pays off massively to put extra work in

I do admin stuff after hours. Enter Salesforce notes or update my expenses.

Team stand ups normally last max 20 min, with WFH would you rather have your teams camera on or off? What has worked for you to get maximum value from your teams and set the tone for the day?
