Do you find value in Tech Crunch +?

I follow them on Twitter but haven’t subscribed yet.

Yeah, but I’m a tech junkie and I use the startup stuff for work.

I will read industry specific news to make sure I am up to date on industry happenings but will also read local and national news in general to see the BS that is occurring daily in the world.

Local paper and the NY Times.  I will skim other headlines to see what's happening out there.

NPR is on in the background most of the day, though I'm not really listening with full attention.

Unless I'm heads down in an RFP or presentation prep, I'm pretty well informed with what's going on in general.

Specific to business, I look for news stories about my accounts and keep an eye on general trends (used farm equipment is expensive right now, y'all).

I read the Economist, The Chicago Tribune, skim my hometown newspaper (haven’t lived there in 20 years but still enjoy seeing what the local sports teams are doing etc), and then have the Robinhood daily newsletter a few industry ones and have just added The Hustle. Might dump that one tho.

Just read the local paper mainly to keep up on local news, and half the time it's so slanted and nationally focused that I wonder why I still subscribe...

Doesn't really help w/ my job though since it's in a bit of a niche not really affected by stuff in most papers.

I listen to the Podcast MarketFoolery by Motley Fool. I’d recommend anything Motley Fool. It’s great investing advice but also tells you which industries are doing what(I sell a product to all major industries). Several of my Enterprise prospects have popped up every now & again which is also helpful. Along with news about my company/competitors. They’re 20 minutes too, easy during lunch.

How do you keep yourself motivated under pressure? Yes, I've heard of the usual responses like "finding your why" & "aligning yourself", etc. But I just want to get to the meat of the solution. Are there any specific tactics you guys use to keep yourselves motivated?
