Do you send RBE's to prospects?

My company gives us an easy way to send RBE's to prospective customers/customers and some managers really push for their reps to utilize this (mine seems indifferent about it). I personally have not done it and hit my numbers just fine- am I missing out? What RBE's are ya'll sending out?

A "relationship building extra" basically a gift could be a uber eats giftcard or company swag to a bottle of booze.

Ah, thanks!  Then we have a small budget for that but rarely used.  Only when necessary.

Yeah, we have a small budget too but hardly anyone uses it. I have done big gifting campaigns in the past and they never bring in that much $$ if any so I've strayed away

I have seen about a billion acronyms in my time but this one is new to me. If I guess... Role Based Email? As in sending automated emails based on someones title?

Personally I always opt for the tailored targeted approach rather than a canned sequence.

Holy hell I would not have guessed that. I don't send gifts to cold prospects, never seen that work well. Obviously will take in cycle people to events/dinner and stuff though, but never send stuff as an outbounding tactic.

Never, either my solutions and myself do it for them or they don’t. I would never buy someone. Now I would send a thoughtful gift to my favorite accounts, but thats after they buy because I like making people smile/happy without the expectation of something in return.

Marketing at my company is super into those (although I hadnt heard them called RBEs) but I always found the leads generated from them to be subpar. Usually people just taking the call for the giftcard not necessarily ready to buy or in the market.
