Do you still find prospects using Co-Vid as an excuse to not go through with the sale?

How do you guys combat that push-back?

Yes but with the solution I’m selling right now, it is a valid reason since it’s a very impacted segment.

Beyond that, it’s usually given as a supplemental reason if it isn’t directly responsible for holding the deal up.

it's definitely not as bad as it was a year ago, but the reality is there are still lots of industries struggling... anything tied to live events, hospitality, restaurants, small biz tools - for some startups, a pandemic is their single point of failure.

In my opinion, it's not worth pushing back. if you're truly listening to a prospect and the issue is COVID, the timing just isn't right. The only outcome I can foresee is you leave a bad taste in their mouth and they go elsewhere when the time IS right.

Agree with this 100%

I'd rather acknowledge the bad timing and follow up down the line than push and burn the lead forever.

I have, I tell them COVID is an excuse not a reason. Surprisingly it worked but that’s because I had a good relationshio with the person.

But in all seriousness?m, if that’s an excuse pick a date 2-3 months out and follow up.

NO DOES NOT MEAN NO it simply means not now- they just forgot 4 letters

What work chat channel do you use? We use discord which is a bit...dodge. We are trying to find another one but would like opinions and why!

How do you all handle a situation where a prospect has a contract approved and is ready for signature, but one of their family members just passed away? Want to be extremely sensitive to the situation...feel there's never a "right" time to reach out and never want to be salesy...
