Do You Take Naps?

I’ve never been successful trying to nap while on the clock, but I love a good power nap. Anyone had success taking a quick 20 minute nap since WFH started?

I’ve napped while working

I'd nap more if I wasn't concerned my nanny would rat me out to my real boss.... my wife! haha

I don't like taking naps either way lol. My sleeps remains incomplete with naps. I like to sleep long

Yea naps are hard to find that perfect balance, but when I hit a perfect 20 minute nap (which happens maybe once a year) it feels so right🤣

I must be really tired or have a headache for a 20 min nap to feel good lol

Well ive been napping more frequently in WFH situation but you gotta put a cap because you are in your bed. So you may end up waking up the next day. I recommend 30 to 45min tops

I nap rarely, but only when I feel it's really necessary. When I am at that point though a nap can really put me back on track to finish the day strong, just keep it under 30 minutes.

30 minutes away from my desk to have 3 more productive hours is better than 3 hours and 30 minutes of dragging, sloppy work.

At Max a one hour power nap. Too much makes it worse for me. Normally it’s more like 20 min and I’m jacked for the rest of the day.

I have never been one to be able to just get back up and back to work after a nap. Usually I feel groggy and less productive

I have the occassional 1 hour nap and it feels so great! It makes me more productive because I feel great when I open the laptop back up

Nice! Hard to stare at a screen 8 hours a day, but naps help make it easier

I’m working remote (SDR, SaaS), so I snack in between calls and if I feel like I need to just doze off for 15-40 minutes over “lunch” I will.

If I’m tired I just go to bed earlier the next night. Never saw the point in napping really.

Only if I had a long drawn out day earlier in the week and need a refresher. Usually my calendar is too unsupportive of a mid day nap (multiple timezones really killing me here)

My territory is between India and New Zealand , India opens up at 4.30pm my time and NZ doesn't start picking up phones until 11am, i usually start my day super early, get like 2 hours work done, then nap from 9am-11am, then go on to work the rest of the day, it's blocked out in my calendar

20-30 minutes mid afternoon every now and then; the best is when it turns into a 90 minuter

It is preferable to have an exact time to sleep, also in this way you maintain more energy and think in a more objective way
