SaaS companies fail about 10x more than they succeed, there just isn't a lot of hoopla and press about it, investors are 100% aware of these risks going into them, and are for the most part willing to miss on 100 fails to find one Facebook, etc.   Sure, I think some valuations are a bit loopy, but value is all about convincing the person who writes the check on the story, and right now there is a lot of money, and some masterful stories in the market.

I think after 2008, anytime there's an exploding market for anything, the term "bubble" gets thrown around.  I'm not sure there's anything to support the idea of any kind of bubble related to the SaaS market.

There's a SaaS product for everything these days - it's doing more harm than good.  Both for good companies to leverage their offering vs a cheaper option that will fail in two years, and for the consumer to get a good handle on TRUE Best Practices.

It’s all about maximizing the moment but also gearing yourself to be adaptable in the future. Wow that sounds generic 😅

SaaS itself is not a bubble. But as with any maturing industry there will be a period of market saturation followed by consolidation for each use-case.

The value of moving the operational overhead of infrastructure to someone else's books and then holding them to an SLA is far more attractive to most companies / agencies than keeping all of that work in-house.

No real estate, assets, utilities, and staff to manage removes a ton of variable cost from the equation. Replacing it with a predictable cost held to a specific standard.

The only exception to this is highly secure use-cases. The gold standard for security is still an in-house team with an offline network and very strict access controls (think classified information). And even then, frameworks like FedRAMP exist to help open the door to SaaS in this space.

The most important thing to remember is that the results of the month you are in, are based on the work you did months ago. Execute the process, build ridiculously solid habits and you'll never feel like you are at "zero". If you approach selling like a career, (a giant mountain that you climb one step up everyday, you'll always be fulfilled, if you are a quota chaser, riding the highs and lows of months and quarters, you'll crack under the stress.
