Do you use Scratchpad (or similar tools)?

Are they worth the investment? Do you get real tangible value out of these tools? Are there alternatives you recommend?

I use Scratchpad. The product and team are f'ing incredible. If you are an AE, using Salesforce, and hate the experience of Salesforce then you gotta use Scratchpad. It's legit. Keeps all my sales notes in order, allows me to update my pipeline and next steps fast. I use to spend at least 2-3 hours on a Friday afternoon making sure I was ready for our pipeline call on Monday and I straight wanted to punch Salesforce through my screen every time. Scratchpad has cut this down to 10min max. Seriously, get it. Thank me later. It's free btw.

Nice. What about Dooly? I think they're similar, do you have any thoughts on them?

Yeah. I didn't like the product at all. Was super buggy, slow. My take is Scratchpad is legit app for sales notes, updating your SFDC pipe and the pace of innovation coming out of the team over there is kinda nuts. The team is top notch pros. Dooly is a buggy note taking app only.

That is awesome to hear. Was it hard to get Scratchpad sold internally?

No, not at all. Work with the team at Scratchpad and they can help. We rolled it out to over 50 reps here with tons of expansion planned. It’s almost too good to be true how incredible that company and their tech is. I totally encourage anyone who is fed up with SF to get Scratchpad and reach out to their product specialist team for a tailored onboarding. A short call will give you hours of your life back each month.
