The Josh Braun, β€œThis is a cold call, so would you like to hang up or roll the dice,” line always gets a laugh. I think it really depends on the industry you sell in to, but it can definitely help or hinder in building an initial relationship. Know your prospect gauge the tone and do what feels natural.

Lemme know how it works out for you. I thought it was a total crock but the pattern interruption thing really works here. If nothing else you can pitch more than you normally would.

Sometimes I do. Depends who it is, and if it's via email.Β

Be yourself.Β  If that means sense of humor, use it.Β  It is not something that can be forced.
