Working in a state where you cannot legally record calls made my sales cycle super sketchy. "Oh, we just play a brief message at the start of the call to tell them there is a recording. You can also tell them, but that should cover you.". 

Somewhere, a regulator's ears started burning like hellfire.

Yes, I'm sure there's a bunch of the folks with emoji's next to their name on LinkedIn that are here.

Sales enablement sellers spend their efforts in the place where their prospects (sales people) spend their time (LinkedIn). You can bet your bottom dollar they are strategically trying to find their way here.

The anonymity and non-solicitation rules of the WR should help keep the content here sacred.

No disrespect, I appreciate the hustle, but the "engagement pod" tactic has got to be one of the all time blowhard tactics on LinkedIn since putting "Keynote Speaker" in your headline. 

So, I just mute people from my feed when I see them pop up in an engagement pod. Sucks, because it may be useful down the line, but that noise disrupts the usefulness of LinkedIn for me.

They like and comment on each other's posts to maximize exposure across their combined networks. Rather than facilitating conversation, they are gaming the feed algorithms through shitposting to people continually see their name/brand and hopefully gain more sales.

My old company used to make us do this. Nothing looks cheesier than an SDR posting about something we do, and the rest of our SDR team asking about it.
It made us look stupid to be asking questions to our colleagues about our product

But not every single person is good at content and best prepared to try doing a personal brand. Hence the dilution comments.

I see something similar happening with certain SHIELD employees.

Not necessarily a Gong-only problem. But gong has more visbility so it makes sense this is the convo
