Do you work in Government/Defense Contracting?

If you work in government/defense contracting (or sell to the government in any capacity) do you prospect for customers or rely primarily on the government bid sites?

If you do actively prospect for customers what do you find to be most productive?

Are you really in sales if you don't hate yourself at least a little bit?!

RFP: Really Fucking Pointless
If they're releasing an RFP they've already made their buying decision.

I sold public safety software, government bids are great but they usually already have a buyer in mind and do that as a formality. At least in police they did and we could prospect to them. Straight government is tough

I sold into government and this statement is absolutely true. They say they have bylaws and rules to keep the process fair and I've actually protested quite a few awards. It's tough, but damn it man if you win 🔥

Did your protest ever go anywhere other than the trash can?
