LinkedIn is important for prospecting, always has been , always will be.

Our hope is that the WR is your virtual sales floor to hang with the homies, talk shop.

I agree, I think we get to talk shit we really wanna talk about here because it's our safe space. LinkedIn is just for business professionals, and it's best to keep as is.

I like that there is the anonymous piece to it too. Makes others feel like they can ask the questions they want to ask but couldnโ€™t before on LinkedIn such as advice on changing jobs and how to deal with other company issues as well without repercussions.ย

you sum it up pretty well in your LI posts - the war room gives us a space to share candid feedback without concern of being cancelled or judgedย

LI will always have a place. As much as I love WR I can't prospect into customers using it. However, just browsing through my LI feed has gotten a bit ridiculous. It's mainly just becoming facebook/instagram/Twitter with influencers, "New LI feature. Double click to see it!", and political nonsense.ย

I've always found LI incredibly dull. I feel like I'm reading robot and AI posts every time I scroll through the newsfeed. I hate the lame, copy and paste (fake) stories, virtue signalling, worthless political commentary...ย

Eh- still like it (LinkedIn) for prospecting and research, has its value there....but as far as engaging and commenting with people, that has changed drastically, IMO...WR to get back on the sales bullshit

Iโ€™ve always really like LinkedIn and was in sales there for a good amount is time. That said, I really love having a level of anonymity in WR and being able to fully speak my mind. ย Itโ€™s also refreshing to not see all of the self-congratulatory posts Iโ€™m used to. ย

Where you have influencers saturating Instagram and other mediums, we have "thought leaders" saturating LinkedIn. Quite frankly, I like it better here!ย

I couldnโ€™t agree more - though I think people have started to get LI Burnout. I have LIโ€™d my balls off the past 18 months. WR is welcomed reliefย

I only use LinkedIn for finding contacts or validating contacts on ZoomInfo. I donโ€™t even scroll through my home feed anymore. Sorry not sorry.ย

I like LinkedIn from the perspective of having an online reputation that you can actively manage and is wildly accessible to most, but I already post in the WR way more than I do on LinkedIn bc I feel way less restricted.ย

I hate that Linkedin has these new polls. I see every other post is a poll and most of them the time it isn't relevant like who will win the Euros finals...... This isn't Facebook it's Linkedin...... God that feels good to get off my chest.ย

I feel that LI has migrated more to a place where everyone is trying to out bullshit each other with made-up titles (is it me or is everyone seemingly a career/life coach on that platform now?) or they pitch you something you don't need or want the moment you accept their connection. There's still business to be had on LI, but you've got to be authentic and spend time on it.
