Does anyone else obsessively check slack and business emails even after hours?

Yeah, I have trouble disconnecting. I get automated emails from clients all the time with updates that I want to know and those come through at all hours. Also, not uncommon to be communicating with my candidates/employees in my free time and days off.
Same :sigh: I feel compelled to reply on slack.ย And I don't like to keep clients waiting.ย

Yeah it's a terrible habit. I really need to take it off my phone
I've never used Slack but I log out of Teams after my meetings are over.
i wouldnt say obsessivley but i defintiley have a problem checking out for the day
Luckily Iโve been able to learn over the last couple of years to put the phone down and not pay much attention to it after hours.ย

me but my goals are not as lofty as yours. partly because im in a lower cost area already
I have never heard of the acronym FIRE. Iโll google it now.
