Does anyone have experience selling IUL’s?


Indexed Universal Life Policies, I'm getting back into sales and have some interviews scheduled for this week but wanted to see about this gig thats commission only and if anyone here has experience being in the industry I was going to do it on the side and see if I can make it work for me. it would be through Transamerica, with a training program, mentor, 10 shadow meetings, etc. I've been approached to do it before but I didn't like the onboarding process to do so and needed immediate income

Not really sure about that industry, but personally I tend to shy away from commission only sales jobs. Not sure if that was any help at all though?

100% commission is tough - I have never been able to do it.  But, I know those are some of the highest paying gigs out there if you can make it work.

Nope, but 100% commission isn't something I'd do again. Did it once before when I was desperate for a job, but definitely lower pay than what you'd expect from selling insurance.

Also, we're hiring SDRs/BDRs with solid comp, so if you wanna work in event tech platforms, hmu.

Are you looking for part time, and this is all you could find? I’m just leery of commission only, but if you have other income and want to give it a go, it might work. Is this the same onboarding process you didn’t like the first time?

It's a different onboarding process, much more guided and setup to do well in my opinion, and yeah this would be part time, but if effective would quickly replace my full time income

I was in the industry for 4.5 years. was a rep and a manger.

I sold IUL, VUL, Variable Annuities Mutual funds whole life ect. 

IUL's are a great product. The amount of people that actually NEED this product though.......VERY VERY small. 

After I left the industry I realized how many people I put into those products that are NOT good fits.

Unless you have a really large network of very wealthy people, its going to be a grind. 100% commission is just super sketchy man. idk how i did it for 4.5 years.
