Does posting on LinkedIn make your profile more visible to recruiters?

I try to keep a silent presence on LinkedIn for the most part but I have heard that if you post consistently, you are more likely to pop up on the feed of recruiters. Is this true?

We recently lost a few people and their resume and hiring services did tell them to be a lot more active on LinkedIn to get the attention of recruiters

i dont think recruiters go after ppl that pop up on their feed.....im pretty sure they search based off of key words on your profile. i would NOT post on linked in just for the recruiters.

depends on the industry but i would assume:
- current role / title - current company- industry focus: specific key words unique to that industry- Location

This is the way to go. Keep your profile optimized with key words that pppulate on mass searches on LinkedIn Recruiter. Itโ€™s the same idea as sales nav

100% correct. So what happens is, when you post more and are more active, your name is more likely to show at the top in search results done by recruiters. Making it easier for them to find you.

That depends. Are you writing content that is liked, commented on and shared by connections of those recruiters?

If yes, then yes.

Follow up question: does getting your content in front of recruiters get your interviews? Probably not.

Target hiring managers and founders. They engage the most with content as compared to the souring team. If they engage then you can connect and follow up on active or hidden roles.

Play chess.

Does it have you pop up higher when searching for candidates on linkedin recruiter? Maybe
However, responding to LinkedIn messages 100% has you get messaged more from other recruiters. "Likely to Respond" is a category candidates are put into

Follow the LinkedIn influencer formula.

Write one sentence and then hit enter twice.

This style is super popular and also lets your readers know how thoughtful and emotionally intelligent you are.

It also shines a light on your virtue if youโ€™re humbly bragging.

Thatโ€™s it. Thatโ€™s the post.

This is one of those old wives' tales or whatever. Recruiters run specific searches and decide on the criteria they are looking for. So, keep your profile and skills updated with where you want to be, but there is something to always replying to your messages on LinkedIn. That does not push you higher, but is flagged in LinkedIn recruiter and may entice recruiters to message you over the next person who never replies on LinkedIn.

Late to the party here but it's known that once you get through to an interview, the hiring managers of course do a little LinkedIn research on you etc. Sometimes, and I have done this myself, wondered why if they are applying for a sales role...their LinkedIn isn't very active, worse when they see they have hardly any connections. Recruiters could do the same and they also have a separate sales nav looking for key words etc.
