I mean it should help or there is no point in doing it. If you're doing it just to put it on LI, you've got too much time on your hands bro
It only matters when doing huge ass deals. But even then, if you've got cred and connections it doesn't matter.

If you're going to a new organization that's looking for experience the certification kind of helps, otherwise it's just a way to fluff your LinkedIn and show people how cool you are that you have a Sandler certification
A lot of them seem to just be to tick the box or add to LinkedIn unfortunately
It really depends on what it is. I think in most cases it' not super helpful though
