Does your executive team listen to sales?

Curious if you feel like your C-Suite takes advice from long-term sales reps, based on their experience in the trenches, and what changes should be made strategically or organizationally to be more effective as as company. Any good examples of how they set up the feedback loop and how/if it paid off?

We’re a decentralized sales team, spread across the continent.  We also have a secondary distribution channel.  Both provide feedback constantly, but mostly through the annual NPS score survey.  

The really difficult part is we’re part of a global conglomerate, which has large operations in the European market, which gives direction for targets and product dev.  Regionally, we have weekly calls to discuss deals, monthly follow ups on the Monthly NPS score survey and adjustments are made based on follow up from the survey and quarterly strategy meetings.  

It’s a big ship that requires a lot of approvals for major changes.  COVID caused more of a Suez Canal result to change  vs excavator (feedback).
