Drama from alliance director

Hi sharks,

I'm currently dealing with a drama from my alliance director who has treated me unfairly and thinks I'm a kid. I would like to get your insights on how to deal with her, or maybe I should bobby Axelrod up instead of whining like a little bitch.

We are a cloud system integrator, we work closely with account managers from major cloud providers. I join 1 mth after my account director. We are supposed to divide and work closely with the account managers.

I had an unpleasant chat with my alliance director while deciding which AM I should work with because it seems like there is always a story behind each AM and this story deter me from reaching out to the respective AM. For example, there is a new AM in the team which I'm interested to reach out, my alliance director stopped me with a bs story saying that we don't know which segment/batch this new AM working on .. pls give her time to find out. The next thing I know is my account director has named this new AM under her.

I had talked to my MD, I told him this is fking bs.

Ok, so what's the issue here? You were going to reach out to someone, the AD told you not to, and now someone else is working with them?

Do you report to the AD? If not, do your job and tell them to talk to whomever you report to if they have a problem.

So you were told not to reach out to these external AMs because they have stories about them.. then the new AM who works at your company gets a spot that you wanted?
