Dress Code related to weather

So fortunately I was off today but 98 and humid as BALLS!

It got me thinking, for days where you just can't do a standard dress code, suit, tie, dress whatever. What is your go to outfit?

Polo and slacks?

Shorts ever?

Spaghetti string?

Let it all hang out and lets hear it!

Male here: I cover Arizona as part of my territory. Even in 110+ weather, it’s always pants and a long sleeve button down. No jackets though. I do recommend some light weight shirts, I started wearing State and Liberty and they work pretty well. Undershirts come in clutch too once I start sweating so it’s not visible through the shirt, I normally use Tommy John ones they are tight fitting so you don’t see them through the shirt

Pro move - have a couple under shirts in the car. swap them out if they get a bit nasty

Call me what you want, just sign the damn contract
Never shorts.
I recommend keeping changes in your desk/car/whatever you have.
And you wear a tie every day? By choice or no? Because ditching the tie alone will make a big difference.

As a male human having grown up in the South working lawn care/farms/home services, my fashion hasn't really changed much though I've moved on to bigger and better things.  I'm almost always in steel toed boots (those come in handy, my wife once ran over my foot and I was unharmed), jeans, and a button down (long sleeves to hide the ink).  In all weather.

That shit is miserable though, you must admit. I spent some years in the Army wearing pants, undershirt, a “jacket”, and boots. In Tennessee and Georgia, that shit was BRUTAL.

Just second nature for me, I suppose. I grew up in boot and jeans. Hell I even wear thick hiking socks every day, no matter the weather. I’m far more likely to be uncomfortable from the cold in the a/c than I am to be too hot outside.

Shorts and a polo all day. My company has a very laid back dress code and since I’m selling to IT, they are almost always in shorts and a tee.
