I've heard good things about it, especially if you can record just the person's name so it sounds like you're leaving a custom message. Never used them myself though.

In the voicemail, I say "I'll follow up with an email" and in the email, I say "I just left a voicemail but wanted to follow up with an email"

I chose “lose it” because I never have used pre-recorded voicemails but I’m not against it.

Seems like it would be hard to personalize the message though if its pre-recorded.

It just lacks personalization...

That said, I’d gauge with leaving a VM on every single dial.

Never tried it. Unless you count whatsapp VNs

Always. Don't expect a call back but at least expect them to know your name when they see it in their inbox.

Leave a voicemail but don't ask them to call you back - cause that will never happen. Just say your name and say that you will follow-up with an email.
