Salesforce is my CRM however the current software being used by the company is Cirrus Insight which has been integrated with salesforce for email tracking, I find it's not very effective

interesting. To answer your question yes I do. Hubspot is our crm and it shows me in gmail and in Hubspot on the contact record if an email was clicked or opened. I use that pretty often. As an example I might use a large volume of opens to quickly call or send a quick follow up email. Or if that prospect has been prospected for years and they never open emails...that tells me that email is not a good chanel and I should cold call them or try linkedIn as a better chanel to get a hold of them. Or maybe get their attention by sending a "who is in charge of your xyz strategy?" to one of their colleagues hoping that they might forward it to that person or get their attention in a round about way. Thats a couple ways I use that data.ย

That would be ideal, might suggest this to our SF Engineer to implement because that would be great to see historical open rates etc.

That insight helps you make better decisions. Definitely recommend.Especially if your prospects are getting emails from your marketing team too. You have all that data. If they never opened a marketing email or haven't in the last 6 months? im not going to waste time personalizing an email..im going straight for phone, LI, or some other approach.ย

Also use Salesforce with Cirrus integrated into our email (google). Almost half the time it turns itself off, and half the time itโ€™s not tracking anything in Salesforce. Cirrus sent out a survey not too long ago and I scored it poorly, prompting an email from a CSR. Dude basically just said, โ€œnothing we can do about it.โ€

Would love an alternative.

HubSpot is, hands down the fโ€™n best CRM.
I was on HubSpot and loved it - and moved to a company using SAP (not an actual CRM) ย
I was gonna quit but, luckily, management is moving to SFDC
still not HubSpot but I hope itโ€™s better. ย Never used SalesForce but itโ€™s gotta be better thanย
Dynamics right?

I believe all sales professionals should have an email tracking system. In the past, I have used both Hubspot and Salesforce. In terms of tracking emails, I believe that Hubspot tracking is easier to track on the CRM, opposed to linking Cirrus with Salesforce.ย

What are your thoughts?ย

100%ย  Hubspot rocks.ย  ย I have set multiple appointments because I saw a cold prospect open and email.ย  I wait a couple of minutes and call...."Hey was just checking in."ย  ย Doesn't work all the time but when they are receptive it's pure gold.ย  ย "You wouldn't believe this, I was just thinking about you...."ย  ย  Gotcha!

We used to use yesware now we use outreach. Itโ€™s helpful to know if and when prospects are opening your emails- can do a quick follow up call when they are ectย

I've used Yesware in the past. All cadencing tools like outreach and Salesloft do this by default.

I currently use Hubspot to track opens, pretty simple.

I think you actually can just get their chrome extension and connect it to your email for free. Worth checking out.ย

100% use email tracking software, it gives you insights as to whatโ€™s catching your POCโ€™s attentionย

It helps us in knowing if the other person has seen the mail or not or if he/she has left the mail on seen as well

We used to use Outreach. We had special sequences for people who have opened emails more than 3 times.

the start-up I previously worked for had one for the gsuite. It was awesome. The current company doesn't have one for outlook. Does anyone have suggestions?

We use HubSpot and thoroughly enjoy seeing the results, all the way down to what pages in a PDF proposal are viewed and for how long ... a good way to rethink / redesign our proposal structure.ย

If you do not have a fancy CRM system that can track emails, then you can use STREAK if you are a Gmail user. It works flawlessly, is free and can also be used privately too :-)
