my employer has their employee appreciation week....what a joke . Day one nominate a friend who's doing well for a potential $20 Giftcard, day 2 a company quiz, day 3 pictures with your company shirt on ... I mean wtf . Does all big companies do this dumb trash and think people care ??!!

You unlocked a memory of our employee appreciation week. Management sent out a survey to see how they could better improve our employee experience and someone went around telling everyone to answer the survey with "Pay us more".

Management DID NOT LIKE THAT.

So, we spent our Employee Appreciation day being told that we should be grateful to even have jobs and that if we dont like the pay we can walk out the door. It gave "The beatings will continue until morale improves" vibes.

We are over 2 months mandatory paid vacation days off a year. Fully vested on everything benefits, stocks vacation time everything day one. During the summer we get Fridays off on top of the 2+ months.
Party’s trips you name it they do it. Free college if you so choose as well. It’s money here.

The company I work for said they would do our SKO in person. However, at our last All Hands our CEO said, NAH we are keeping it virtual.

My company has an "umlimited PTO" plan, but also has given us 2 "mental health days" this year. Not quite sure what the benefit of a day off is when you're supposed to have unlimited.
We also have an employee recognition system where you can give someone 1000 points per month.......a point is the equivalent to a penny. SOOOOOO stupid
